You will have to create an account and register for exam, pay the fee, once the fees is paid, you will have upto 12 months to take the exam.

The Results!�

As soon as you complete the test, a screen will pop up telling you whether you have cleared or not, and in about 10 mins you will have an email from the center with your results.

the result is divided into 9 sections and your standing in each of them is identified via a scale ranging from orange to green – green being the higher score.

you will also have a number against the remark of your passing, this is your overall number.

How to maintain LEED Green Associate Certificate?

LEED emphasizes on continuous learning, therefore you need to complete 15 Continuing Education (CE) hours every two years, with 3 hours focused on LEED-specific content and 12 hours on general green building topics. this is as of 2025, however may change – you must keep up with all the updates through your dashboard on their website and emails. these CE hours needs to be reported to your USGBC account before your renewal deadline

A Renewal Fee which is currently $85 for USGBC members and $100 for non-memberswill be applicable. Remember to renew on time failure to renew means you’ll have to retake the exam to regain your credential.
